In The Book Thief there are many references to words having power. Over the book, Liesel stole many books which will would have an effect on her lifestyle during World War II. She learns how to browse and this permits her to survive the world of warfare. These ebooks keep her away from the destruction and lose hope from the war. Liesel and Max, the Jewish man hiding in her basement, give each other strength throughout the words and stories that they exchange. There are also examples of unfavorable ways that terms hold electric power, such as Hitler himself. Through words this individual achieved to rise to electric power in Australia and destroy millions of people. Seemingly, words have some kind of electricity, but that power could possibly be used for very good as well as wicked. Liesel is a perfect example of how words have got power in a positive approach.
